-- The official diagnosis on Randy Orton's injury is a compress fracture of his left collarbone, reports PWInsider.com. Orton is expected to be out two to three months at this point, so he should likely be back in the ring by September.
-- The WWE site has posted a video of Ric Flair cutting a promo telling fans to watch WWE 24/7 Online during the month of June. The article on the site refers to him as 'WWE Ambassador Ric Flair'.
-- Matt Sydal made his WWE television debut on tonight's edition of ECW on Sci Fi. He took on Shelton Benjamin in his debut match and got quite a bit of offense in. Sydal was counted out at the four minute mark after Benjamin picked him up for a powerbomb on the floor, then turned and threw him into Kofi Kingston instead, who was sitting at the broadcast table. Sydal, who is five foot seven and 25 years old, signed a developmental contract with WWE last summer after impressing officials during a tryout. He was then sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he reigned as champion for two months. After WWE pulled their affiliation with OVW, Sydal was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling. He worked a dark match with Jamie Noble three weeks ago. | |
