WWE House Show Results (5/4/08) - Fredericton, New Brunswick

Here's a few random thoughts LIVE from Fredericton NB .

- Opening match was Chuck Palumbo vs .... CM Punk. I have to say, those
little kids sure can scream loud ()! Chuck did a great job tauting the fans,
even ripped a CM Punk sign apart (I laughed my butt off ). CM Punk pulls out
a clean victory. Too bad it wasn't on TV
- Ted DiBiase Jr made his WWE debut during the NB tour against Kenny
Dykstra. The crowd was pretty dead for this one lol. Kenny countered Ted's
finisher for the win.
- Now for some DIVAS!!! *Giggity* It was a "Best Body competition". Kelly
Kelly, Cherry, Lena, Natalya and Maryse were the competitors. Natalya got
the crowd going by not disrobing! Oh what a tease. Despite Maryse getting
the loudest applause (Being from NB), the "winner" was Kelly Kelly. After,
Natalya attacked Cherry, the Kelly disrobed Natalya.
- Mike Knox vs. Kofi Kingston. Memo to future crowds in attendance. His name
is KOFI, not KOBE! On a side note, Knox is huge. Wonder whats his secret....
Kofi wins this match.
- Jamie Noble fought Matt Stryker. Noble's ears are pointier in real life!
Eerie... Good match, Noble wins.
- Tag Team Title match, Morisson and Miz against Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon
Moore. This match was awesome! It's a real treat to see these 4 athletes in
person. And yes, Morisson's entrance IS in slow motion in person. No special
FX Wish I had that! After Yang's Moonsault (which looks sick!!!) on Miz,
Morisson hits the Moonlight Drive (I think thats what its called).

- ECW Title match, Kane vs Chavo (With Bam Nealy). Kane gets a HUGE pop,
despite no pyros!!! Boooooooooooo lol Kane wins with a Chokeslam off the top
rope!!!!!! (Holy !!!!) Great match.

- Now here comes the Edgeheads. I still have no clue which is which, ah
well. And their opponents...FINLEY (with Hornswoggle). I was shocked to hear
how big of a pop Hornswoggle got. And his partner..... ITS THE BIG
SHOW!!!!!!!!

Dear god he's a giant! Show got one of the loudest pops of the night by far.
He knows how to work the crowd. His slaps on the chest can be heard from
outside I bet. Ouch! Then Finley gave his chops. ouch! Of course it ends
with a Double Chokeslam.

But here's the shocking part. After the match, Hornswoggle climbs the
turnbuckle..then climbs BIG SHOW! From on top of Big Show's head...TADPOLE
SLAM!!!! It was pretty impressive! Then Big show started dancing with Finley
and Hornswoggle....slightly disturbing, but all in good fun lol.

- Now for the main event of the evening, in Tag Team Action (No DQ)

IM COMING...! Here comes MVP to a mix crowd reaction (more booos).

Then here comes CANADA'S OWN ....EDGE!!!!!!! He comes out wearing a Montreal
Canadians T-Shirt and carrying Hockey Sticks. The crowd goes nuts for Edge
(Mostly cheers, some boos) loudest reaction of the night.

In the ring, Edge says its time for a 5 second KODAK MOMENT!

"I'll be playing the part of Carey Price and MVP here will be the
Philadelphia Flyers" Edge says. Then MVP pretends to take a shot and Edge
falls on his butt LMAO!!!! This got lots of cheers and boooooos (lots of
leafs and habs fans in the house). By the way, EDGE IS SD!

Now their opponents, the NEW US CHAMP...MATT HARDY! He got a wicked
reaction. He mocked MVP and did his BALLLINNNN.

And his partner....BATISTAAAAA! Out comes the Animal, to a chorus of
Boooooos!!!! lol Take that Batista, Welcome to Canada! He still played the
"Face" character, despite being boooed.

Edge then grabs the mic and says "We're in Canada...why the hell your
cheering for Hardy and Batista!" (They were only cheering for Hardy by the
way). Then Edge says "I do need you....and you...and you...." keeps making
fun of the crowd. It was AWESOME!

The match itself was very short considering it was a main event. The Faces
won, but Edge definitly got the biggest reaction.
